The Heritage Society

A community of Unity Church members and friends who have chosen to make a planned gift to the church in their will, estate plan, or beneficiary designations — ensuring that the values, spirit, and mission of Unity carry forward for generations to come.

Each year, members and friends who have made a planned gift to the church are honored at the annual Heritage Society Dinner — a celebration of the vision and generosity that makes Unity's future possible. We hope you'll join them.

New! The Heritage Society Matching Grant

Two generous Unity Church members have created a matching fund to inspire others to consider a legacy gift. When you inform the church that Unity is included in your planned giving, that amount will be matched dollar for dollar — up to $1,000.

When we live from a place of abundance and trust in what lies ahead, our generosity has a way of multiplying.

Please complete the form on this page to let us know of your planned gift.

What is a planned gift?
A planned gift is a future commitment — a decision made today that shapes what Unity Church can do and be for years to come. These gifts go beyond annual pledges and reflect a deep belief in the enduring power of this community.

Planned giving is open to everyone. There is no minimum gift, no single right way to give, and no moment too early or too late to begin thinking about the legacy you want to leave.

Making a gift can be simpler than you might think:
  • You can name Unity Church as a beneficiary of a retirement account, like an IRA or 401(k).
  • You can designate Unity Church as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
  • You can include Unity Church in your will or estate plan, with either a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate.
  • You can explore ways to receive income now while still providing a gift to Unity later.

Let us know about your gift
  • Whether you're ready to make a commitment or simply want to start a conversation, we'd love to hear from you. You can complete the form on this page, or Executive Director Laura Park is happy to answer questions, talk through options, or simply have a conversation about what a legacy gift might look like for you:  [email protected] or 651-228-1456 x116.
