Second Annual Queer Retreat
Saturday, March 23 • 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. • Unity Church
Lunch, beverages, and snacks will be provided! Childcare is available upon request. Please submit registration and childcare requests by Saturday, March 16.
Intention Statement: To join together for restoration, community, and joy through spiritual practice, creative expression, and conversation.
General Description: The Queer Retreat is for all people ages 18+ who identify under the LGBTQIAPP2+ umbrella, especially folks whose bodies and/or genders don’t fit into the gender binary. Though rooted in Unitarian Universalism, we welcome those of all beliefs and traditions. We seek to make this space inclusive across cultures and generations by building authentic and sincere relationships.
Accessibility Information: Unity Church-Unitarian has two ADA accessible entrances: The Portland Avenue entrance and the parking lot entrance (on the west side of the building). Each room being used follows ADA guidelines and can be accessed from the elevator. There will be a designated quiet space available at all times. We have all-gender, women’s, and men’s restrooms. So that we can best accommodate you, please communicate accessibility needs to Ray Hommeyer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
