Tower Club Unity's high school youth group is called "Tower Club" (because of our historical connection to high school group meetings held in the bell tower long ago).
Tower Club is a gathering place for 10th-12th graders to enjoy one another’s company, gain insights into the world and our faith, cultivate compassion, have fun and eat tasty food. Tower Club meets from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings, some holiday weeks excepted. Youth are expected to remain with us until 8:00 p.m. We communicate mostly through Facebook, but try to be intentional about calling or emailing youth who choose not to use social media. This year, we’re inviting Tower Club families to consider contributing $25 toward a “Food and Fun Fund” so that we can offer more of both food and fun this program year. This contribution is not a requirement for participation.
On most years a group of our high school juniors take a pilgrimage to Boston to tour relevant Unitarian Universalist sites including Walden Pond, Harvard's Divinity School, several churches and the headquarters of the UUA and the UUSC. Fundraising to offset the costs of the pilgrimage and other trips takes place throughout the year.
Youth and parents who wish to receive email updates should let Drew Danielson know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
