December Holiday Services
Christmas Eve Services
Tuesday, December 24
Find A Stillness • 10:00 a.m.
A quiet, contemplative service that offers an extended time of silence, an opportunity for sharing and singing. An inclusive bread and grape juice communion will be served.
Christmas Pageant • 4:00 and 5:30 p.m.
Come hear the ancient story and see it acted out by the children of the church. Begun by the Rev. Dr. Frederick May Eliot upon his return from World War One and first performed on Christmas Eve of 1919, this year we celebrate the centennial of Unity’s beloved Christmas Pageant.
Christmas by Candlelight • Unity Church and Above Every Name
Family Lessons and Carols • 7:00 p.m.
For the past five years Above Every Name, the Afro-Centric Universalist congregation with which Unity is in growing covenant, has shared the 7:00 Christmas Eve service. This year, the two congregations will share in a Christmas communion. Service leaders will include, Pastor Danny Givens, Deacon Thomas Brown, Pastor Mary Milton, Deacon Haitia Gregory Smalls, Rev.
