Unity Church — Unitarian welcomes visitors, members and friends at Sunday worship services through the ministry of its Welcome Teams.  Each volunteer joins a team, offering hospitality at one service, one Sunday a month.  Each team has a leader who supports the team and the individuals on it, and who makes certain that team members are in place to greet, usher, collect the offering, serve coffee and welcome newcomers for the team's assigned Sunday.  An annual dinner and training evening celebrates the work of the teams.  We encourage team members to get to know one another, so that their camaraderie will extend to a warm welcoming presence on Sundays.

Joining a Welcome Team is an excellent way for newcomers to Unity Church to begin getting involved.  It provides an opportunity to get know people; and, more importantly, to begin to feel that this community is truly home!  Of course, long‐time members of the Unity Church community are always welcome on Welcome Teams as well!
