The entrance for Unity Church–Unitarian’s Sanctuary and Parish Hall is located on the corner of Portland Avenue and Grotto Street in Saint Paul, one block north of Summit and two blocks west of Dale. The entrance for the Church Office and many of the meeting rooms, is located on the Holly Avenue side of the building at our mailing address of 732 Holly Avenue.

Directions to Unity Church

If you are heading toward Saint Paul on I-35E from the north or on I-35W, find the best route to I-94 and follow the directions for I-94 below. If you are coming from the area around South Saint Paul or West Saint Paul, take US-52 north across the river to westbound I-94 and follow the directions I-94 below.

From I-94 (from the east or west) or I-35E (from the north)

Head to I-94 between downtown Saint Paul and downtown Minneapolis. Take I-94 to the Dale Street exit and head south. Turn right on Summit Avenue, which is the third set of stoplights after those on the highway’s frontage roads. Turn right onto Grotto Street, which is two blocks ahead. The church is one block ahead on the corner of Grotto and Portland.

From I-35E (from the south)

Take the Grand Avenue exit from I-35E and turn left at the stoplights at the top of the ramp. Cross over the highway and go up the big hill in front of you. (The hill is named Ramsey Street, but there are no obvious signs. Grand Avenue will curve off to the left.) At the top of the hill, turn left onto Summit Avenue. Drive down Summit Avenue, past the stoplights at Dale Street. Two blocks after Dale Street turn right onto Grotto Street. The church is one block ahead on the corner of Grotto and Portland.

Parking at Unity Church

Unity Church maintains an off-street parking lot one block east and one block south of the church on the corner of Saint Albans and Portland Avenues. On Sundays, the parking lot north of Webster School is also available. For first-time visitors, parking is available on Sundays on Grotto adjacent to the church. Persons with disabilities will find handicapped parking in the lot immediately east of the church on Holly Avenue. Please see the parking map.
