Everyone at Unity Church will be asked to support our the combined Operating Pledge Drive and the Capital Campaign. We encourage you to make an operating pledge and a capital campaign commitment that are true expressions of your commitment to the church – gifts that are significant, meaningful and generous.

Operating Pledge
We ask you to consider an operating pledge equal to 5% of your household income. Why 5%? Because churches that are supported at this level have the financial foundation to be responsive to the needs of their congregations and communities through worship, programs and outreach.

• If you are already giving 5%, we ask you to increase your pledge amount for 2012 by 3% or more.
• If you are giving less than 5% of your household income, we ask you to make a financial commitment for 2012 that moves you toward that benchmark.

Capital Campaign Commitment
This capital campaign is the opportunity for all generations at Unity Church to step up and take responsibility for ensuring that our beloved institution is strong and vibrant in the future. The goal for Unity Tomorrow is $8 million.

• We ask you to consider a financial commitment equal to five times your annual operating pledge, payable over three years. For example, someone pledging $1,500 to the Operating Budget makes a financial commitment to the Capital Campaign five times that amount, which is $7,500. Paid over three years, that’s $208/month.
