Religious Education: Junior High Grades 6*, 7, and 8
At our 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. services, we offer religious education classes for 6th, 7th and 8th graders during the worship service. Each ‘semester’ we explore a new topic in depth; the content is related to our own religious heritage, our developing personal theology or the traditions and wisdom of world religions. Youth can select between two concurrent offerings, based on their interest, past experience or classroom friendships. The structure of each lesson includes a reflective meditation, some energizing fun and some participatory learning about ourselves and the human experience. Course ‘semesters’ start in September and January. Contact the Director of Religious Education by email at kerri@unityunitarian.org or by phone at 651-228-1456 x104 for more information.
