Children in grades 3-6 are invited to participate in the 11:00 worship and in the 9:00 and 4:30 Children's Chapel as Chalice Lighters. This special opportunity includes a two-session Religious Education requirement for a parent and child (offered twice yearly) in which participants learn the history of the Flaming Chalice and explore the Seven Principles that bind together UU communities across the continent. Upon completion of this learning experience, children are invested as Chalice Lighters and are invited to serve on one or more Sundays during the church year.
