Workshop Description:
The first step in a smooth transition to policy governance is uniting your congregation or organization behind the change. Unity Consulting offers Policy Governance 101 to help you do that. At the end of this full-day workshop, you’ll be able to:

Explain Policy Governance to your congregation or organization.

Articulate the benefits of Policy Governance for your specific congregation or organization.

Articulate the connection between Policy Governance and your congregation’s or organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Create buy-in throughout your congregation or organization to implement Policy Governance.
- Develop a calendar for Policy Governance implementation.
Who should attend?
Anyone who will be deeply interested in or affected by your transition to PG. For example, your: current Board, executive group including the ministers, opinion shapers, possible Policy Governance opponents, your ministerial search team if you’re in search, etc.
Prerequisites:
A strong initial commitment to PG within your congregation or organization and several PG advocates on board (See Step 1 for more information).

Cost:
$3,500 for two facilitators, plus costs.
