Podcasts - Listening Instructions
What is podcasting?
Podcasting makes an audio file, typically an MP3 file, available online for listening. You can either listen online or download the file to listen to at a later time. Click on Pod icon to listen to the file online, or right click on the file itself and then click "save target as" to save the file to your computer.
Most files are between 8-10 megabytes, and will take about 3 or 4 minutes to load.
What software do I need?
To listen to the audio feeds on your computer, you can use Windows Media Player, Quick Time, or other software. If you don't have these installed, you will need to download podcasting software. There are many free or commercial podcasting applications available for download (including
iTunes:(http://www.apple.com/itunes/) and Juice:
