  • Writing several articles about RJ for Unity’s monthly newsletter.
  • Sponsoring RJ Week at Unity, raising funds to support projects and again educating the community about the existence of the Team.
  • Mentoring inmates in area prisons.
  • Facilitating conversations between inmates nearing completion of their incarceration time and people they hope to engage with once released.
  • Offering Women’s Personal Empowerment workshops at a local prison.
  • Providing a Building Your Own Theology program at a local prison.
  • Collecting and contributing Coming Home Kits (personal items) to recently released offenders.
  • Supporting the “For Whom the Bell Tolls” project to raise awareness of executions taking place in the United States.
  • Sponsoring several panel discussions with ex-offenders at Unity to broaden awareness of the Team, and invite participation in Team projects.
  • Providing a presentation at a regional Unitarian conference (Prairie Star District) and at a local (Minneapolis/St. Paul) Council of Churches event about RJ.
  • Planning and hosting a national gathering of Unitarian Prison Chaplains and lay volunteers (Behind Bars) who are providing support to inmates, and bringing liberal religious ideas and values into prisons and jails nation-wide.
