REMT News
The Ministry with Children and Youth department is looking for new members for REMT. The Religious Education Ministry Team is the group of lay leaders who support the R.E. staff in their work to fulfill Unity Church’s vision for rich, meaningful programming for children and youth. The team meets three to four times each church year to discuss progress and programming, needs and new initiatives.
On Sundays, REMT members take turns offering practical support to our families and staff by welcoming visitors and overseeing the volunteer staffing of our classrooms. This year’s major goals include supporting the final revision and production of a threeyear cycle of lessons from the Journey In...Toward the God Shaped Hollow as well as working on enriching existing UUA curricula for use with junior high youth.
